THE CURRICULUM

 

The Curriculum is responsible for deciding what we teach each learner, and when we teach it. 

 

It has four parts:

 

1. Learning material - the lessons and the associated exercises that will be used to teach the learner techniques and strategies to improve their Memory, Observation, Reading and Thinking skills.

2. Personal material - the learner's personal educational profile and preferences.

3. Progress record that details each learner's progress to date through the curriculum and their results for each challenge they have undertaken.

4. Finally, and most importantly, it has a decision-making system to recommend what lessons or challenges the learner should next encounter.  It uses information from the other three parts of the curriculum, including information as to what worked best from other similar learners, to do this.
