THE GAME CHARACTERS
The major feature of the Got-A-Head®? game is its use of system-generated characters that will interact with the Learner to optimise their learning and enjoyment of their Got-A-Head®? experience.
The Got-A-Head®? game’s primary purpose is to practise the skills they have learnt through sets of challenges they will face during their adventure. However, the Learner won’t face these challenges alone. Throughout their experience playing the adventure games, Learners will be part of a team. The Learners themselves will be the head of their team and will ultimately decide where the team goes and what the team does. However, the Learner will have the benefit of three constant companions in their travels through the game:
Other characters may come and go from the team, but these three will remain true friends to the Learner through their adventures.
Other player characters serve to further the adventure game’s plot, the game situations or the challenges in those situations through which the Learner practices the curriculum. They may be as rich in detail or as simple as required. These characters may be available to join the team. But beware, unlike the standard team members, there is no guarantee that they’re benevolent.
In addition, is the character of Janus, who acts as a doorkeeper between the game and the real world and the Luminaries, who collectively will teach the Learner the skills, techniques and strategies from the curriculum.
